Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Business Development Head with a strong Regulatory Affairs background to develop international markets, identify pharmaceutical importers and distributors, and coordinate product registrations. The candidate will connect commercial opportunities with regulatory requirements and convert successful registrations into supply agreements and repeat business. The facility is WHO-GMP and Schedule M compliant and supplies pharmaceutical products to government and institutional customers across multiple states. The company is expanding into domestic generic and export markets and is looking for an experienced leader to drive plant operations and manufacturing excellence. Role Purpose Lead the overall manufacturing and plant operations at the Gwalior facility, ensuring safe, efficient, compliant and cost-effective production while improving productivity, quality, capacity utilisation and operational systems. Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end plant manufacturing and production operations and ensure achievement of production plans. Manage manufacturing of tablets, capsules and semisolid dosage forms including ointments, creams and gels. Drive productivity, yield, efficiency, capacity utilisation, RFT, downtime and cost improvement. Ensure compliance with WHO-GMP, Schedule M, SOPs, BMRs, GDP and data-integrity requirements. Partner with QA/QC for deviations, CAPA, change controls, audits, validation and qualification. Provide technical guidance on granulation, compression, coating, capsule filling and semisolid manufacturing. Identify bottlenecks and implement process optimisation, waste reduction and continuous improvement initiatives.
